Introduction

The AMFPHP project is designed to be a resource for Flash, Flex, and Air developers. The documentation for this project assumes that you have an understanding of object oriented programming in PHP and Action Script. Please read through all of the documentation thoroughly. If you still need help please comment on the mailing list or through the forms. The previous documentation for the AMFPHP 1.2 release is still available on this site. http://www.amfphp.org/docs/

Additional Documentation

This documentation is in the process for being updated for the AMFPHP 2.0 release. The documentation does not currently define all the features that are implemented in the 1.9 beta release. If you have a specific documentation request please submit it to the Open Discussion forumn. Like most open source project AMFPHP is need of additional documentation. The best way you can help the project is to provide examples and requests for additional information.

Bugs / Known issues

- Implementation of a integrated authentication system that mimics that of flex data services is under development. Currently service authentication is done with a filter that is checked on each service call.

- The service browser is being updated to handle template for code generation.
